It's really quite amazing...sometimes unsettling how God can keep showing us the same msg again & again...
Can't remember where I got this from...quite recent...*sigh*....my brain really leaking....
Love - the agape kind that desires another 's highest good - doesn't whitewash sin or allow wrong behaviour to continue without confrontation. That is why confrontation - honest, gracious confrontation - is essential to healthy relationships. A healthy relationship is one that is open. Things aren't buried, covered up, ignored, or denied, because when they are, decay sets in - putrefaction."
It's so easy to ignore sin...so easy to rationalize when we disobey God...it's so easy to slip... This doesn't just apply for ourselves...but for the believers around us too. What is our responsibility towards one another?
God's Word in James 5:16 says, "Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed."
Do we ever really do that? Confess our sins to each other....to be truly accountable to each other? Is there a place for this among believers today?...in our fellowships & CGs?
