a lil update...
Do keep praying...there has been a delay in the approval of our (those going to Thailand) application for RA (religion affairs) visa (1 year). We're hoping that there will be news of it BEFORE we leave for Thailand next Monday. We have managed to get a 90-day tourist visa, so the worst-case senario would be that they reject our application for a 1-year visa and then we'd have to travel out after 90 days. If they approve of our visa only AFTER we've gone to Thailand, then we'd have to travel OUT of Thailand to the nearest Thai Embassy (which is in Penang) to get our visa. Either way, there would be cost incurred, time lost and our language studies & orientation would be disrupted. It's still alright for me I think...but the other family has 3 kids in tow...that's going to be quite a hassle...so we're praying...that God will work in His good time... Thank you for praying!
