...back safe...sound?

got back last night (thurs) and didn't get much sleep cos was on the phone (well isn't that rare? yes it is) ... went 'racing' about the whole day today (fri) with a very nice bunch of kids. i'm pooped. really.

thank you all for your prayers...the trip was great...so much more than I expected. the whole thing...before the trip and during...all the things that happened...all the lessons i've learnt confirmed that this is a trip that God wanted me to go on even though I really had my doubts in the beginning. i will share the details when i have a lil more energy.

only bad thing was i (tog with 2 other team members) caught some terrible bug and came down with fever, headache, diahorrea, aching body...i hadn't felt so bad (sick-bad) for VERY long time. in fact, it's been really quite a while since i had a fever. it was so bad i actually took a panadol (with lots of praying of course - cos i have an allergy...eyes would swell...thank God...i didn't react badly to it). it was bad also because i was the only girl so i was rooming alone...no one to take care of me...but good thing also cos then i didn't disturb anyone with my moaning, waking up every one or two hours to go to the bathroom (not for diahorrea every time though) and sitting up in bed just praying my headache would go away. it was the WORST...cos i was feeling feverish...cold and achy ALL over...really BAD headache...and it just wouldn't go away. i ate NOTHING for abt 2 days (almost). stomach is still a lil unstable now...hope the virus in my tummy would go away and clear up soon....*argh*

i'm thankful that it happened towards the end of the trip when i didn't have any physical task to do and so i didn't miss too much (except taking pictures with the kids and saying goodbye properly to everyone *frowns*).

so yes, I'm back.

i'm so sorry jay...for missing your bday! i really dunno how i did it. i kept telling myself i would sms u when i touched down....*argh*...so mad at myself...losing my mind...confirmz....sorry sorry sorry.

oooh...something exciting. i know when u see someone with a new zippy hp...u'll think...wah so rich ah...but when u see me with one soon...it'll not be because i'm rich...hee hee...dun tell u why.

really need to go and rest. this virus thing had better get zapped away soon...feasting period is approaching.

will sit down and do my reflections on the trip and share about my trip soon...
