family holidays

just came back from a family holiday and here i am...going on another one...

came back from church camp...with my spiritual holiday...had a great time with a villa full of girls...being with a really JOYful group of people...God reminded me of His goodness...how He's been answering my prayers...growing me in His Word...transforming my life. i really couldn't stop tearing on the last day when ppl went up to share. i didn't know whether to go up to share or not...i deliberated for too long i guess. i'm really really really thankful for my spiritual family...this has been the people i grew up with as a Christian...a really BIG family. i kept thinking about how He's been working in and through my life...and is going to continue to do so and my heart was just overwhelmed with gratefulness. i'm thankful for this family...for how we pray for one another...how to care for one another...grow with one another...in Him. i'm thankful for the people who consider me as part of this big family...who've shown me their love for me as fellow brethrens...as family

in a few hours, i'll be away for another family holiday...this time, with my physical family. hope to spend some quality time with them before i leave for Thailand. pray for safety...for good time of bonding and sharing...not too much friction, disagreement, unhappiness...pray for wisdom to know when to speak the things God wants me to say...pray for time of rest and fun...I pray that He would be Lord over this trip...that I would submit myself to His will...His control over all situations and circumstances...praying that all would go well...
